CSA GF Meetings

  • Downtown Support Meeting, Wednesday March 9, 7:00 pm - 8:00+ pm FDA Food Safety Modernization Act reprise.  Join us at SMUD’s Customer Service Center, 6301 S Street, Room 3 (if traveling west on Hwy 50, take 65th Street exit; SMUD is across that intersection, parking on left).      
  • Restaurant Outing, Wednesday, March 16, 11:30 at Steve’s Pizza, 3191 Zinfandel Drive, Rancho Cordova, CA.  No rsvp this time; just come!

  • Sacramento (Watt/ElCamino) Support Meeting, Sunday, March 20, 1:30 – 4:00 pm Can celiacs overcome the effects of pre-diagnosis muscle weakness, gluten ataxia, and similar symptoms?  Isel Lamoureux, a Guild Certified Feldenkrais practitioner, will explain how the Feldenkrais Method helps achieve greater levels of comfort and range of motion, improves posture and leads to greater health and vitality. In the words of Moshe Feldenkrais, founder of this Method of Somatic Education: "Movement is the key to life."  St. Marks United Methodist Church, 2391 St. Marks Way, Sacramento, CA.  Experienced celiacs, please bring a gluten-free snack to share (including recipe and/or package, for those with additional food sensitivities).
  • Placerville Support Meeting, Sunday, March 20, 2:00 – 4:00 pm Judy Fields, Registered Dietitian, will speak about resources and nutritious meal planning for Celiacs and will answer audience questions.  The meeting will be held at Federated Church, Placerville:  1031 Thompson Way, Placerville, CA 95667.  Contact Information:  Kathleen Hughes 530 672-1104.
